The local chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., Zeta Kappa Zeta Chapter, was honored to sponsor the “Miss Blue Revue 2019 Scholarship Pageant”.
Miss Blue Revue is a scholarship fundraising event to benefit local young ladies aspiring to pursue a secondary education.
This year’s Pageant was held on Saturday, March 2, 2019 at 4:00 p.m. at the Ornelas Activity Center, 3402 Old Omen Road, Tyler, Texas. This year’s pageant also included a reception following the pageant. The young ladies contestants ranged in age from 13 to 18 years of age.

Tamia Marie Isabell
Tamia Marie Isabell, attends John Tyler High School where she is a Varsity Cheerleader. Her parents are Tamara Johnson and James Johnson. Her awards and accomplishments in high school include A Honor Roll, member of the National Honor Society, member of the Student Council, part of the Senior Leadership, and an All-American Cheerleader. Also, she is on the Student Board of Directors at Texas Bank and Trust. Her goal is to attend college and major in Nursing.
Chrislyn Mi'chael Goss
While attending John Tyler High School, Chrislyn Mi’chael Goss was a member of the student council, played on the volleyball team, and an AVID student. During the Skills USA Competition, she received First Place in Criminal Justice skills. She plans to attend TJC, attend a University to complete her BS degree, and attend Law School. Chrislyn’s parents are Ambra Phillips and Trenton Johnson, Sr..
Tyjasha Nykail Rushing
Tyjasha Nykail Rushing, attends LaPoynor Junior High in Larue, Texas, where she participates on the basketball team and plays in the Band. Her academics include the A and B Honor Roll and UIL Math program. Tyjasha parents are Byron and Octavia Eldridge.
Andrea Maria Evans
Andrea Maria Evans is a student at John Tyler High School. She participates in John Tyler Color Guard, Dance Team, and was a captain in her 11th grade year. She has won several awards for MA Regionals. Extra-Curricular activities include performing with Baby Bosses Dance Team in Dallas, Texas and Cosmetology. Her mother is Raekeia Jenkins.
Ne'Vaeh La'Sha McMahon
Ne’Vaeh La’Sha McMahon is part of the Choir and Track team at Jacksonville Middle School in Jacksonville, Texas. Her parents are DeQuita McMahon and Step-Dad Marcus G. While attending Jacksonville Middle School, she has received a Writing Award, Best Theatre Performance Award, and on the A Honor Roll. Also, she is a Peer Mediator.
